Curious about the future of SharePoint now that #MicrosoftViva has arrived? Take a closer look at Microsoft Viva, the new employee experience platform that is generating a lot of buzz. We’ll share platform highlights and discuss the impact on productivity and surround tools.
In the early weeks and months of the pandemic, organizations focused on providing employees with secure, remote access to ensure business continuity. Yet as remote work environments persisted, the focus shifted from access to conversations about employee productivity, engagement and support for overall well-being.
Early February Microsoft introduced Viva, its employee experience platform designed to bring employee communication, knowledge, learning, and insights into an integrated experience. Take a closer look at how Microsoft Viva can help support your organization’s efforts to support employee productivity, collaboration, and engagement. We’ll also discuss the future of SharePoint now that Microsoft Viva is here.
Viva Connections
As of right now Microsoft Connections spearheading the demand for a more cohesive organization branded experience with everyday productivity tools. Easily discover news, conversations, and tasks to stay engaged while uniting the employee experience around the organization’s mission, vision, and values. Utilize Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Yammer, Power Platform, Stream, and more to bring your digital workplace to the next level.
Viva Insights
Microsoft Insights is MyAnalytics and Workplace Analytics wrapped into a supercharged app. Delivering meaningful insights to Employees, Managers, and Leaders of the organization.
Viva Topics
Microsoft Cortex has brought two very similar AI products that complement each other.
Viva Topics turns content into knowledge by delivering timely knowledge in the places people are consuming and creating information. Creating functional pages to surface unstructured data into something meaningful for all.
SharePoint Syntex being Viva Topics sibling, automatic content processing and applying metadata. This is the same AI model that Power Platform uses to scan documents, harvest information, and surface meaningful information.
These are important aspects of the modern intelligent intranet. I look forward to seeing how these two products evolve because this certainly isn’t where it will stop!
Viva Learning
Quite simply put, Microsoft’s version of a Learning Management System. The huge advantage is that if you already have an LMS or serve this need through something like Pluralsight, it’s likely that it will integrate with Viva Learning in some way
This module has not been released yet but I see this one as one of the most intriguiing because everyone can benefit from a tool like this!
