Adblock Plus is safe, simple, and secure. It’s an extension on Google Chrome and an Add-on for Firefox. It helps deter what is and isn’t an add or virus for the less fortunate eye when browsing the internet. I personally installed this on my parents computer because they don’t know what is an Ad or virus and what to click and what not to click. I also installed this on my computer because it takes the ads that autoplay before your music/video on Youtube and Hulu.
Adblock Plus

For adding this onto Google Chrome and to avoid pesky ads and possible virus’s here is the link:

For adding this as an Add-on to Firefox:

Summary:
This is a great tool to help prevent parents, young ones, and in general, non-tech savy people from getting virus’s and or getting frustrated with Youtube for their bothersome ad’s.

Black Eyed Peas – Let’s Get It Started

Posted the song above because of the “keep runnin’ runnin’” part :P

Last night I ran 10 miles! It’s such an accomplishment I had to put it on my blog!

Yesterday I ran 10 miles!!! I did it because of previous running partners, motivation to prove to myself I could do something I thought I couldn’t, and to train myself to the max.

The thing that brought me the most happiness out of running the 10 miles was that I proved to myself I could do something that I LITERALLY thought I wasn’t capable of. That by itself was enough to want me to keep running. Also the fact that it was my legs and hips that were failing before my lungs that helped me with motivation.. Completely abnormal sounding (I know…) but it was such a great accomplishment! I CAN’T wait to continue on this path and keep running!!!

Also, another thing.. The Tough Mudder is 11 miles with 25 obstacles. It’s practically a big kids obstacle coarse just a little stretched out more :P

I ran 10 with out any strain to my arms other than pumping them back and forth… Have you ever tried to run after working out? Well what I really am asking is with dead unusable arms? haha… Well it makes your run way harder not being able to use the thrust of your arms to help you with each step. So I am looking forward to the next few weeks of running and then working out.. and then running and then …. You get it.. haha

If you don’t see another post.. It’s because my arms broke off.. lol

Today I had a phone interview with the Student Marketing Manager of the Midwest for Rockstar Energy Drink and it couldn’t have gone better. I am officially a CBA!!! (College Brand Ambassador) The benifits of being a Rockstar CBA is:

  • Internship with one of the fastest growing energy drinks on the market as well as gaining experience in the beverage  industry
  • Creates a long-lasting professional and social network on and off campus through working with the Rockstar Family
  • Opportunity to earn extra Rockstar promo’s based on performance
  • Opportunity to attend Rockstar events
  • Gain recognition for sponsoring Fraternity get together’s and events on campus – get the party started and keep the energy going!
  • Use “Rockstar College Brand Ambassador” as a resume builder
  • Potential to move up in the Rockstar Family

So this is how it started :)

I was working at the Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee for the CW18 and MY24 tent guiding people on how to sign up for our raffle give-a-ways and conversated and got to know the tent next to us as well. The tent next to us happened to be the Rockstar tent and they were one of the main sponsors for the Rock Stage. I asked about being sponsored at school to get their name out and he said to e-mail him on July 15th in which I did and one thing lead to another and now I am a proud Representative of Rockstar Energy Drinks.

What I have to do:

Create a fun and exciting environment that best fits Rockstars standards and live life to the fullest doing it! (How cool is that?!)

Give away free drinks and host events on/off campus (Who doesn’t like free stuff)

I am so stoked to get this started, yet, afraid because the job seems too good to be true. :P

Going to do my best and be involved! Good luck to me! :)

Jon has a 2013 Honda Civic
Mod’s and Pictures installing:

 Subs

New rear speakers

Blue Interior lights and LED license plate lights

First I installed his Kicker 12″ Subwoofers with a Sony Xplode amp.

Installed everything from power wire, ground wire, speaker wires, and a converter [Variable LOC (Line Out Converter)].The converter is used when adding an amplifier to a stock radio and converts the radio’s speakers into an output that the amplifier can use.  All of which are hidden including the trunk, body, and under the hood. I use heavy electric tape under the hood for save measures and also use heat resistant tubing. I bought the Kicker 4 gauge wire kit because it comes with everything you need and its a one stop shop type deal.

After I installed the subwoofers Jon thought it was a great idea to crank his speakers and just keep them blasting. Eventually his rear speaker grew tired of this and gave up on Jon :P So he blew his rear right speaker and yet again gave me another project for his car. I had to remove the seats (only the back rests) and a lot of the side panels and of coarse the casing that goes over the speakers.

Everything was clips (which is a love hate relationship with me because they always sounds like its breaking but it easily goes back on with no signs of taking it off, simply by clicking it back into place)

Replacing the interior lights with a few adapters and a few blue 12 SMD LED strips along with the license place lights. Took the incandescent lights out and replaced them with blinding blue/white LED lights. (Size for the universal license plate lights are T10)

YouTube made an executive decision to do a complete makeover to their website and create it with a more social networking feel. Making YouTube with a side bar on the left that includes your subscribed channels, trending, popular, music and suggested channels, makes youtube alot more user friendly. Not to mention thats the way facebook, google+, and twitter not so much but for the same general feel, is formatted. I have seen comments on facebook about how people dont like the change of the new youtueb but i think they have yet to realise its only going to make the site more interactive and show them more of what they want to see.
